Access and Use of the Portal
User Accounts: To access certain features of the Portal, you may need to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.
Authorized Use: You agree to use the Portal for lawful and authorized purposes only. You shall not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the functioning of the Portal or infringes upon the rights of others.
User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Content and Intellectual Property
User-Generated Content: By submitting any content (such as text, images, videos, etc.) to the Portal, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Portal.
Intellectual Property: All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on the Portal are owned by or licensed to Ibanda University. You agree not to use, modify, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Portal without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer: The Portal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Portal will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your use of the Portal is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Ibanda University be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Portal, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Modification and Termination
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Portal or other means. Your continued use of the Portal after the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at our discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Uganda.
